Did you know?

When you dermaplane, you’re not just removing the vellus hair, you’re also removing all the dead skin cells, too!

Further…..
When you pair dermaplaning with an enzyme treatment or a “mini peel” (adding chemical peel solution to the enzyme), you’re increasing + maximizing your exfoliation benefits and cellular turnover.

After removing the vellus hair and dead skin cells via the dermaplane service, the enzyme is applied and will penetrate your skin deeper + quicker without all the hair and dead skin cells in the way!

You’ll be left with a glow, possible minor flushing (slight redness) that will subside within a couple hours and possible dryness and flaking a few days after. This is all part of the process in exfoliating and transforming your skin to reveal new, healthy and baby soft skin!

An at-home facial razor that you can grab at the drug store, is 𝕟𝕠𝕥 the same as dermaplaning.

Will it remove hair from your face? Of course! But, it’s not an actual dermaplane service. There really is a difference!

Simply shaving your face with an at-home facial razor (like the aqua one pictured) removes the vellus hair (commonly referred to as peach fuzz), while a dermaplaning service is an 𝕖𝕩𝕗𝕠𝕝𝕚𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝕥𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕥, with the added benefit of removing the vellus hairs.

When dermaplaning, a trained, licensed esthetician will utilize a sterile surgical blade to remove vellus hairs and dead skin cells from your face.

A dermaplane service (or even just shaving your face) will not trigger thicker or darker hair regrowth. Your hair will grow back and be the same as it was prior to its removal.
